Privacy notice
Version 2026-10-27
This notice is given under section 5 of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), before any of your personal data is processed. It explains what SocialKit does with your data, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and your rights.
SocialKit is run by Deepsoch AI Private Limited ("Deepsoch AI", "we", "us"), CIN U62011MH2025PTC449773, 1st Floor, 945, 5th Main Rd, 7th Sector, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102. For your personal data, we are the Data Fiduciary. See also the Terms of Use.
1. Who to contact
Questions, requests to use your rights, and grievances go to support@deepsoch.ai (section 8(9) and section 6(3)). We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer: that duty applies to a Significant Data Fiduciary under section 10(2)(a), and we have not been notified as one.
2. No account, and your work stays in your browser
SocialKit has no sign-up. Your projects (your photos, your text, your edits and the links to the files made for you) are kept in your own browser's storage on your device, so you can come back to them. That saved copy is not sent to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser, using another browser or device, or a private window removes or hides it. You can delete any project from the home page.
3. What we process, and what for
We process only what each purpose needs (section 6(1)).
- Photos you add. Uploaded so your carousel, reel or story reel can be made from them. For story reels, a photo of the lead is described in one sentence (apparent age range, hair, skin tone, eye colour, clothing, and whether the person presents as female or male) so the character is drawn to look like them. We do not run face recognition or build a faceprint, and we do not identify who is in a photo.
- Text you type. Topics, notes, story ideas, character names, captions and your handle, used to write and design what you asked for.
- What we make for you. Images, written slides and captions, voice-overs and dialogue in synthetic voices, music, and the finished reel. No recording is made of your own voice: SocialKit never uses your microphone.
- Usage data. Which pages you visit and what you do in the app (for example, that a reel was made in Tamil and downloaded), counted by Google Analytics to understand and improve SocialKit.
- Technical data. Your IP address, browser type and the pages and requests you make, recorded in our server logs to run the service, keep it secure and find faults.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your photos, text or results for advertising.
4. Who else processes it
- Engine X, the AI processing platform SocialKit runs on, receives your photos and text to generate your results, and stores the files it makes so you can view and download them.
- Google AdSense shows the ads that keep SocialKit free. Google may use cookies and similar technology to show, personalise and measure ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google asks for your consent before personalised ads, and you can change your choice from its privacy link at any time. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Google Analytics counts how SocialKit is used: pages visited, roughly where visitors come from, the device and browser, and actions such as starting, finishing or downloading a creation. It does not receive your photos, the text you type or what is made for you. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it runs only as your consent choice allows.
- Google Fonts serves some typefaces, which gives Google your IP address when the fonts load.
- Our hosting provider runs the servers the site is served from.
Nothing else is shared, unless a law requires it.
5. How long it is kept
- Photos and generated files on Engine X are kept only as long as needed to make and deliver your results and to let your saved projects open them again, and are then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner (see your rights).
- Server logs are kept for as long as needed for security and to investigate misuse, and as the law requires (section 8(5) and section 17(1)(c)).
- Your saved projects stay in your browser until you delete them or clear the site's data.
6. Cookies and similar storage
- This site's own storage keeps your projects in your browser (described above). It is needed for the "pick up where you left off" feature and is never used to track you.
- Google Analytics cookies (named
_ga) tell visits apart so usage can be counted. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies for this site. - Google's ad cookies are set by Google AdSense to show and measure ads, and, where you allow it, to personalise them. You can manage them in Google's consent message, your Google ad settings, or your browser.
We use no other analytics or tracking tools.
7. Photos of other people
Only add photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows someone else, you must have their permission before you add it.
8. Your rights
- Withdraw consent (section 6(4)): stop using SocialKit and clear the site's data in your browser. To have files already made deleted, write to us.
- Access (section 11): ask us for a summary of the personal data we process about you.
- Correction and erasure (section 12): ask us to correct or erase it. Because there are no accounts, send the link of the project or file you mean, so we can find it.
- Grievance (section 13): write to support@deepsoch.ai; we reply within the period the Rules prescribe.
- Nomination (section 14): name someone to use these rights for you in the event of your death or incapacity.
9. Complaining to the Board
If we have not resolved your grievance, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India (section 18), a digital office (section 28(1)). Raise it with us first (section 13(3)). The Board's decisions can be appealed to the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal within sixty days (section 29).
10. Children
Under the DPDP Act a child is anyone under 18 (section 2(f)). SocialKit is for adults only, and we do not knowingly process children's data, track children, or direct advertising at them (section 9(3)). Do not add photos of children. If we learn that data belongs to a child, we delete it.
11. If something goes wrong
If there is a personal data breach, we will tell the Board and each person affected, in the form and time the Rules prescribe (section 8(6)).
12. Your own duties
Under section 15 you must not impersonate anyone, hide material information, file false or frivolous grievances, or give false information when asking for a correction. A breach can carry a penalty of up to ten thousand rupees.
13. Changes to this notice
When this notice changes, its version date changes with it, and material changes are shown on the site before they apply.
14. Languages
You can ask for this notice in English or in any language in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution, free of charge (section 5(3)). The English version prevails.
