AI anime story generator with talking characters
Write what happens. The AI casts two or three characters, writes the scene as shots and dialogue, draws every shot in the style you pick, gives each character a voice and cuts it like a film. Star in it with your own photo.
- Anime, 3D cartoon, comic
- A voice per character
- Full motion
A scene, not a slideshow
Story reels are short animated scenes for Reels and Shorts. The AI writes a screenplay with a cold open and a twist, casts the characters and draws a reference portrait of each, then draws every shot from those portraits so the faces stay the same from shot to shot.
Every line is voiced in the character's own voice with the emotion of the line, subtitles name the speaker in their colour, and the camera cuts to whoever is talking. Choose full motion and Engine X animates each shot so the characters move and talk; choose quick for drawn expressions with lips that move with the voice.
How to make an AI story reel
- Step 1
Write the story idea
A sentence or two: who, where, and what goes wrong. Name the characters if you like.
- Step 2
Pick an art style
Anime, 3D cartoon, comic book, storybook or claymation, and the language they speak.
- Step 3
Let the AI film it
Screenplay, character portraits, every shot, voices, subtitles and music.
- Step 4
Edit and render
Change any line or a character's voice, redraw a shot, then render a 9:16 MP4.

Story ideas that work
- Start with conflict: two people who want different things make the best dialogue.
- Keep it to one scene and one turn. A reel has time for a twist, not a saga.
- Add your photo to play the lead; the AI draws you in the style you pick.
- Full motion takes a few minutes a shot; pick quick when you want it fast.
- End on a line that makes people want part two.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about formats, specs, and how it works.
01Do the characters really talk?
In full motion, Engine X animates each shot so characters move and talk. In quick mode, each line has its own drawn expression and the mouth opens and closes with the voice.
02Will the characters look the same in every shot?
Each character is drawn once as a reference portrait and every shot is drawn from it, with their written look, so faces, hair and clothes carry through. AI drawings can still vary in small details.
03Can I be in the story?
Yes. Add a photo and the lead is drawn with your face in the style you choose.
04How long does it take?
Quick takes about three minutes. Full motion animates every shot, about two to three minutes a shot.
05Is it free?
Yes, free with no account.
